How to install LAN Printer from Control Panel (Windows)

IStep 1

  • Go to control panel Hardware and sound, Device and Printers, Click on Add a Device. (Refer Image 1)

  • Click on The printer that I want isn’t listed. (Refer Image 1.2)

  • Select Device Type TCP/IP.
  • Enter IP Address of the Printer.
  • Click On Nex Button (Refer Image 1.3)

  • Windows will auto detect the port (Refer Image 1.4)

  • select the device type and click on next button (Refer Image 1.5)

Note – Device Type should be Standard and select Generic Network Card from drop down

  • Select the printer model name. (Refer Image 1.6)

  • Select the printer driver version which auto recommended. (Refer Image 1.7)

  • Enter Printer Name (Refer Image 1.8)

  • Click on print a test page button to print the test page then click on finish button. (Refer Image 1.9)

  • Installed printer will be visible in printer sections. (Refer Image 1.10)

Note -

LAN Printer should be in Same Network.

Printer Driver should be installed.

 

Step 2.

  • Go To Admin Panel
  • Enter the same IP address in panel in the printer section and setup as LAN. (Refer Image 1.11)

  • Go to restaurant information and click on printer configuration & ENTER the IP address and select as LAN. (Refer Image 1.12)

  • After above configurations re-log in the desktop app once.
